This is the fruits of my philosophical stool project for my project studio assignment: The Wingardium Leviosa Stool. The idea of the assignment was to make a thesis of design and then make a stool within those constraints. As is plain to tell, I chose to make a stool that also serves as a shelf for all seven Harry Potter books. I also put a routed compartment under the cushion with a wand that I lathed inside.

Here’s a picture of me at the crit last week:

The response was pretty positive. My professor even told me to put it on Kickstarter or Etsy.
